48 Volt - Battery Charger for Club Car

Fully Automatic 48 Volt - 6 Amp Battery Charger -  Club Car 1995 and up 48 Volt Carts.

*** IMPORTANT ***
Your Club Car's On-Board Computer MUST be Bypassed for this Charger to work!

This is an Automatic Charger with Trickle Mode in order to not overcharge your batteries and keep them running stronger for longer.  This is a 6amp Charger and is designed for overnight charging.  (depending on your batteries condition). This is a great charger that will not break the bank and that will get your cart up and running once again so you it can spend more time on the golf course than in the garage

Whats Included:

1 x New CLUB CAR 48 VOLT BATTERY CHARGER

1 x CLUB CAR 3 Pin Charge Plug STYLE PLUG

1 X POWER CORD

Unplug the charger if it hasn’t automatically shutoff in 14 hours:

The charger is designed to turn off when the voltage of the battery pack reaches a certain level. I have found that some battery packs don’t always reach the required trigger voltage and the charger remains on in a trickle charge mode.

If this happens, unplug the charger from the wall outlet, your cart should be fully charged. Most of the times after the charger has completed a few charge cycles the charger will begin to operate automatically.

The charger operating in the manual mode will not harm your battery pack, you will just have to manually disconnect the charger after the required charge time of not more than 14 hours.

How to Bypass the Club Car On-Board Computer

Your Club Car has an on-board computer for the single purpose of turning on or off your Club Car charger. When the batteries are fully charged the computer tells the Club Car charger to remain off. Or when the batteries are in need of charging the "OBC" On-Board Computer tells the Club Car charger to turn on.

With the purchase of this charger the on-board computer is no longer needed. Our chargers are fully automatic. The microprocessor within the charger senses the voltage level of your Club Car’s batteries and turns on or off automatically. The procedure to bypass your Club Car’s computer is simple and will take very little of your time. By bypassing your Club Car’s computer you are avoiding the future expense of purchasing a new computer just to charge your batteries.

The diagram above gives a detailed visual of your Club Car’s setup and the wiring needed to bypass your on-board computer.

Follow the directions below and you will be ready to use your new battery charger:

  1. The negative line coming from the back of your charger-handle receptacle
  2.
  3. The wire that you must install to bypass your computer.
  4.
You need only to splice into #1 with #2, no need to cut the line. Then connect the other end to the negative of the rear most battery; furthest back on the driver’s side (Same as shown above). Now your Club Car is ready to work with your new fully automatic charger.

Tue, 20 Oct 2009

Lotus will unleash its most potent and exclusive lightweight car to date at Tokyo tomorrow; the Exige Scura. Clad in moody black paint accented with slashes of carbon fibre, this is one Lotus you’ll never see coming. Chances are you’ll never catch it either, since the engine sitting behind the driver is Hethel’s most powerful unit shoehorned into the lightweight chassis.

Government reveals plans to cut cost of motoring

Wed, 23 Oct 2013

Whiplash cheats are to be targeted in plans announced by the Government today to drive down the cost of motoring. From next year, only evidence from accredited professionals will be considered in whiplash claims, meaning cheats will no longer be able to get away with exaggerated or fraudulent compensation claims. Is Government policy on green cars too successful?

The real Bond car: Aston Martin that inspired 007 for sale

Wed, 21 May 2014

A gadget-packed Aston Martin that’s said to have been the inspiration behind James Bond’s Aston Martin in Goldfinger has been revealed in London prior to going up for auction at Blenheim Palace in July. The 1954 Aston Martin DB2/4 has been expertly restored by its current owners – who actually didn’t know the car could have inspired Fleming until they began restoring it. Years of research – and the nine-month nut and bolt renovation – followed, producing what auctioneers believe is a car that, if the right people are in the auction crowd, could make the owners very rich indeed.
