BRAND NEW Comp Cams Solid Roller cam for Small Block Chevy

PN: 12-865-9
Grind: 307-R6
Advertised duration: 307/317
Duration @ .050": 278/284
Lobe separation: 106
Lobe lift: .455"/.440"
Valve lift with 1.5 rocker ratio: .683"/.660"
Bearing journal diameter: 1.868" (standard Small Block Chevy)
Material: Steel billet

Intake lobes: HXL Rollers, Lobe # 2235
"The HXL Rollers are intended for high lift applications that require maximum torque and extended RPM. These fall somewhere in between the RX and TK Series
in terms of aggressiveness but provide more lobe lift. They are closest to the High Torque .440" lobes but have incorporated our latest profile advancements
that should allow higher engine speeds and improved dynamics."

Exhaust lobes: NSC Rollers, Lobe # 4160
"The NSC series is very similar to the original NC series but uses a smoother -6 style closing ramp. This fast open, slower closing design works very well on the
exhaust side of many applications, especially those that are larger displacement or higher engine speeds than where the original NC designs would be used."

I selected and purchased this cam for a 383 SBC project that I never finished; the lift, duration, and LSA were PERFECT for what I was trying to accomplish. It's brand new, was never installed, and only taken out of the bag for pictures.

Jaguar to hand-build build six new 'Lightweight' E-Types

Thu, 15 May 2014

JAGUAR is bringing history to life with an incredible mission to build six ‘Lightweight’ E-Types from scratch – by hand. The firm’s ‘finest craftsmen’ will hand-build each of the ultra-rare E-Type racers to the exact specification dictated on the original plans, including the 3.8-litre straight-six petrol engine. The cars were originally destined to be built in the 1960s as part of a run of 18, but only 12 were ever made.

Dacia 'to stay true to its budget roots'

Fri, 07 May 2010

The global marketing boss in charge of Dacia’s roll-out has promised that Renault’s budget brand won’t move upmarket. Many bargain car marques end up inching – or scrambling – upmarket, with slicker products, big price hikes and a desertion of their value promise. But Dacia promises it won't follow the likes of Skoda, Hyundai and Kia by starting cheap 'n' cheerful and then raising prices.

Rent-an-Aventador: Exotic-car rental companies cater to client needs

Wed, 21 Dec 2011

For those who adore exotic sports cars but want to avoid the staggering depreciation, high maintenance costs and laughable insurance premiums required for ownership, there is a solution: exotic-car rental. At its new Los Angeles airport location, Black & White Car Rental recently displayed its latest acquisition, a Lamborghini LP-700-4 Aventador to be used in a fleet that includes Ferrari 458s, Mercedes-Benzes and even daily drivers such as the Toyota Camry. “Obviously this car isn't our bread and butter,” said Dan Darvish of Black & White.
