We had this tank made for a Datsun 510 project and then ended up using a fuel injected engine so this really nice piece has just been sitting collecting dust. It is brand new and measures 24 inches by 22 inches by 7 inches and has a small sump and fuel level sending unit as well as fitting for fuel and aircraft type filler cap and it is made out of aluminum and it cost us around $400 if I recall correctly. Our loss can be your gain. No warranties neither implied nor expressed and would really prefer local pickup in Southern Ca but can ship if needed and will charge accordingly to box and ship. Saab targets customers' hearts, brains and wallets in North America
Fri, 08 Jul 2011Saab executives said they're optimistic the struggling brand will be able to attract customers despite production stoppages at the company's Trollhaettan, Sweden, plant and cash flow problems. The Swedish automaker aims to target consumers and instill confidence with a grass-roots marketing campaign that focuses on the "heart, brain and wallet," Saab Cars North America President Tim Colbeck told reporters at Saab's North American headquarters in suburban Detroit on Thursday. Colbeck said the company must move away from selling vehicles based on price and focus more on making customers enthusiastic about driving Saab's vehicles.
Vauxhall Corsa now gets 85.6 mpg
Mon, 15 Oct 2012The Vauxhall Corsa 1.3 CDTI ecoFLEX Start/Stop now achieves 85.6mpg with emissions of just 88g/km. The Vauxhall Corsa – and, for that matter, the Opel Corsa – has been revealed as the most economical car ever built by GM Europe after a series of tweaks has cut its already impressive fuel consumption. The Corsa 1.3 CDTI ecoFLEX Start-Stop )which, fortunately, isn’t emblazoned on the boot lid in full) can now squeeze 85.6 miles out of every gallon of diesel, which means emissions drop to just 88g/km. Vauxhall has had yet another play with their 1.3 litre diesel and fitted a variable displacement oil pump that delivered pressure to suit the load, had a tweak with the Corsa’s brain and filled low-viscosity oil in the gearbox The result is in improvement of 7 per cent in economy over the current Corsa.
Toyota Yaris Trend & Yaris Edition launched
Wed, 08 Aug 2012Toyota has launched a pair of special editions for summer – the Yaris Trend and Yaris Edition – with cosmetic tweaks. Not content with flogging 100 units of the Toyota Yaris Hybrid to Europcar, Toyota are intent on mopping up more sales with the launch of a couple of special editions – the Toyota Yaris Edition and Toyota Yaris Trend. Both special editions get a blacked-out C-Pillar and privacy glass to give the illusion of a floating roof, a choice of Tyrol Silver or Cirrus White paint and a three or five-door body.
