Description

1973-1977 A Body And 1978-1988 A & G Body Door window regulator installing kit

After 1972 GM did away with bolt in regulators and went to a rivet. This is all good till you have to change the regulator. A simple bolt nut idea seams easy till it ends up being to long and hits the moving gear and then trying to hold a little nut inside of the door while trying to hold the regulator in place. This kit solves all that. We tried a couple u clips and had the same problem with hitting off the gear till we found this j nut. This gave us the clearance we needed and the treads were very close to the starting point. We then decided to use a lock washer to keep the bolt from coming back lose. The bolts and lock washers we went with stainless steel so they won't rust and are stronger. 2nd picture shows clips on regulator 3rd picture shows bolts installed. 4th picture shows the regulator installed in a door. From the time we installed the clips on the regulator then installed the regulator to the door took us less than 5 minutes. This kit will do both doors and will do both manual and power windows.

J bolt does not slide up tight to regulator you want the center hole lined up as pictured #2. Very easy to do and effects nothing about this kit.

Shipping

Most of our auctions are free shipping, we do have some that will have shipping due to size or weight. If the auction does have a shipping price it will be stated in the auction.

Shipping is going to go USPS or UPS depending on size and weight.

99% of our auctions go out 24 hours or less from the time they are paid.

We ship Monday through Saturday.

Shipping is only free to the 50 states all others will have shipping charges. If you do not live in the 50 states feel free to email for a shipping quote.

It is the buyers responsibility to make sure all shipping information is correct. We ship to the address that is given to us on Paypal. We are not responsible for incorrect address and buyer will have to pay to have item reshipped. So please make sure your address on Paypal is up to date.

Return Policy

If part or parts are not described or not what is pictured in auction we will offer a full refund or exchange at no cost to you. This means we will pay any extra shipping charges sending the item back to us and/or getting the correct item to you.

If you are not 100% happy with the part but we did have it described/pictured correctly we will do a refund of the amount paid for auction.

We now offer a 30 day return due to the fact sometimes the customers car is in storage, body shop, and so on and is not accessible.
