Cadillac reveals second-generation SRX crossover

Cadillac unveiled the next-generation SRX crossover, a vehicle the company says is redesigned from the ground up and offers new, more-efficient engine choices. The 2010 SRX mid-size will be shown at the North American International Auto Show in Detroit next week. Cadillac says the SRX is aimed directly at Lexus' new RX crossover.

The way Peter Schreyer sees it, there is one key difference between European and Korean automakers: Europeans design from the heart, Koreans from the head. "Everybody from the CEO to the little designer to people on the production line, they want to build cars they want to drive themselves." LENNON'S FIRST CAR UNDER THE HAMMER

THE FIRST car bought by John Lennon after he passed his driving test is being offered for sale at auction next month. The Ferrari 330 GT 2+2 Coupe was bought by the Beatle in 1965 and is expected to sell for between 120,000 euros (£99,987) and 170,000 euros (£141,000). Lennon's biographer, Philip Norman, described how car dealers descended on the singer's home when the news emerged that he had passed his test and offered him a "gleaming smorgasbord" of luxury cars.
