Improve productivity and efficiency in agricultural operations with Garmin's GPS 16A which has been specifically designed for the ag industry.

This WAAS-capable receiver has an update rate of 5 Hz, and can be used for a wide range of farming activities, from precision planting to accurate yield monitoring. This GPS sensor consists of an integrated antenna housed in a rugged, waterproof design. It includes a TeflonT jacketed cable for resistance to agricultural chemicals, sun, and the elements.

Mechanically, the GPS 16A has larger wires than the GPS 16 series (22 AWG rather than 28 AWG), fewer wires (5 rather than 8), a more chemical resistant cable jacketing (Teflon rather than flexible PVC), a different color (white rather than black) and a different cable termination (bare wire ends rather than RJ-45). The color coding of the wires on the GPS16A is identical to the GPS16-LVS and the GPS16-HVS, but the Yellow, Grey and Purple wires are missing from the GPS16A. The GPS16A requires a power supply between 8 and 40 Vdc.

Lexus has unveiled a new take on the LF-LC concept—dubbed the LF-LC Blue—at the Australian motor show. The LF-LC Blue builds on the dramatic LF-LC coupe concept that debuted at the 2012 Detroit auto show, featuring the same wildly sculpted aluminum and carbon-fiber body. Lexus is calling concept's color Opal blue, a reference to the iridescent gemstones found in Australia.

B.R.A.K.E.S. teen driving school's western debut a smash hit

Tue, 16 Mar 2010

All four classes of the teen driving school B.R.A.K.E.S. were packed last weekend as 160 teens age 16 to 18 from all over Southern California took part in the school's West Coast debut. "It's a lot more intense than I expected," said 18-year-old Dylan Wright, who spent part of the morning flinging a Dodge Avenger sideways on a wetted-down skidpad.
