Hennessey tunes Chevrolet SS to 1,000 hp
Fri, 02 May 2014Forget the Camaro Z/28 for a minute: Hennessey is offering performance packages for the Chevrolet SS that boost the car from from a not-unreasonable 475 hp to the "there's-just-no-way" 1,000 hp. That's right, Hennessey Performance saw a gap in the market for rear-wheel drive domestic sedans with 1,000 hp on tap, and like any smart business, went for it. Scottish Car of the Year 2011: Big night for Jaguar Land Rover
Sat, 15 Oct 2011Scottish Car of the Year 2011 Last night saw the awards dinner for the Scottish car of the Year at the Thistle in Glasgow, with Land Rover taking top honours and Jaguar walking away with three gongs (well, two gongs and the motoring equivalent of a ‘Lifetime Achievement’ trophy). The unstoppable Range Rover Evoque took the big prize, being voted the Scottish Car of the Year. Of course, it also won SUV of the year (it would have been a bit odd if it didn’t) and at this rate – and the great feedback from customers and media – Land Rover look like they’ll be mopping up a lot of gongs this next year.
Nissan Qashqai 2010 – First photos UPDATE: Models and Prices
Fri, 04 Dec 2009The Facelifted 2010 Nissan Qashqai Updated at the bottom with full Price and model detail for 2010. Last month we revealed that the 2010 facelift for the Nissan Qashqai was actually running ahead of the original plan, and instead of a Summer launch as we first thought, Nissan now plans to have the 2010 Qashqai on the roads in March. We reckoned that Nissan would release first details on the facelifted Qashqai early this month, so we’re pleased to see that we were bang on the money with the first pictures of the 2010 Qashqai dropping in to our inbox this morning.
