JUST IN - A VERY LIMITED SUPPLY OF BRAND NEW GM COMPASS TEMP BACKUP CAMERA MIRRORS!! Here is an easy way to add a backup camera display to your 2000-2008 Chevy Silverado or GMC Sierra while still keeping the compass & temperature feature!! This is a BRAND NEW GM #25958623 auto dimming inside rearview mirror with compass & temperature display. It's the dual display model that shows compass heading & temperature at the same time, and is the common light blue/green color. Mirror has a 3.5" LCD color backup camera display on the left side of the mirror glass!! NOTE...your vehicle must currently have a rearview mirror that already has compass & temperature display in order to use this mirror, as the temperature sensor is not included with the mirror. In addition to the Chevy Silverado & GMC Sierra, this mirror will fit many GM full size trucks and vans from 2000-2008 such as the Suburban, Yukon, Express, etc., as well as numerous other models from 2000-2010 - please refer to the compatibility list. I tried to list as many of the vehicles that I know had a compass/temp mirror as a factory option in the compatibility listing, but as you may know, that list is far from complete & will not let you put all of the vehicles in that should be in there. So if you're not sure, ask me! For the 2000-2002 Chevy Silverado, Suburban, Tahoe, Avalanche & Express vans, GMC Yukon (all models) & Savanna vans, and Cadillac Escalade (all models) that currently have the compass/temp mirror with the 7 pin plug, you will receive a new 16 pin plug & pigtail with the mirror, along with pinouts of both your existing mirror plug and the new one so that you can properly splice the new plug onto the factory wiring. The new plug will also have a video cable already attached to it that is about 9 feet long and will have a female RCA socket on the end. For the all of the other vehicles in the list that currently have the compass/temp mirror with the 16 pin plug, you will receive a new 9' video cable that you will need to add to your existing plug. Instructions on how to do this will be provided with the mirror. Please note that some of the vehicles in the list may come with a compass-only mirror or a compass-temp mirror depending on how it was equipped. If your mirror has a rectangular display, it's compass only. If it has a square display, it's compass and temperature. If you are unsure of anything, please ask a question before you make a purchase. Notes: Mirror doesn't have passenger airbag display, outside dimming mirror control or OnStar. Temperature sensor and camera are not included. Will be shipped via insured USPS Priority Mail. Mercedes planning more Coupe SUVs to add to the BMW X6 challenging MLC
Wed, 30 Apr 2014The Mercedes Concept Coupe SUV (pictured) looks to be just the first in a range of Coupe SUVs No one can be in any doubt that the Mercedes Concept Coupe SUV we saw revealed at the Beijing Motor Show earlier this month will turn in to a ‘coupe’ version of the ML, probably as the Mercedes MLC. What’s also clear is that the MLC is designed to steal a chunk of the market BMW has created for big, lifestyle, coupe SUVs with the X6; take away the Mercedes badge and the Concept Coupe SUV could preview the next generation X6. But with BMW taking their X6 formula and applying it to the X3 – creating the X6 on a boil-wash X4 – Mercedes aren’t going to sit back and let BMW create another lifestyle coupe SUV without responding.

The plan to debut the new Bentley Continental V8 (apparently we shouldn’t call it the Continental GT V8, just the Continental V8) in Germany in Munich’s SkyLounge might sound like a perfectly reasonable thing to do. After all, every car maker needs a ‘venue’ for a launch to make an impact, and something called the ‘SkyLounge’ sounds like it might make a good backdrop for Bentley’s newest toy.
