Dealer Take Off Chrome Heat Shield Set    

This auction is for a factory (4 Piece)  Harley Davidson "chrome Heat Shield cover set"  for the header pipe and cross over pipe for a 2009 - 2013 Harley Davisdon Touring bike. (Ultra, Electra glide, Road King, etc) 

The exhaust Pipes are shown for display purposes and are not included in this auction.

  Nice to have as a spare in case you get a ding or a scratch on your set.   Also because of the extreme heat due to the Catalyst in your header pipe, some of the chrome pieces will turn blue over time, especially the piece over the catalyst.    I can fix this excess heat issue.  See my posting for non-catalyst header pipes.

I also have chrome sets for Trike header pipes and I also have the factory 02 sensors if you need those..

I have individual header pipe chrome pieces on hand that I sell for 1/3 of the Harley dealer price: Call or e-mail for availability if you just need one piece.    

The chrome set is shown  both "installed"  &  "un-installed" but the header pipe and cross over pipe are not included in this auction, just the chrome covers.  The clamps for mounting the chrome set is included with these chrome covers.

I currently have the 2 into 1 Non-Catalyst header pipes like use on bikes with single muffler, as well as the 2 into 2 Header pipes like used on the Ultra, Road King etc.  Removing the catalyst will give you an immediate 8 - 10 horsepower gain and greatly reduce the heat on the rider & passenger feet & legs.

I can remove the catalyst from your header pipe if you want to ship it to me, or work out an exchange.  E-mail for details. 

With the catalyst removed your bike will run much cooler and give an additional 8 - 10 Horsepower.     Your mufflers and pipe are much less likely to ever turn blue and you & rider will get much less heat on your right foot, and better fuel economy.   

Note:  If you have a 2010 or newer Harley touring bike with the left side muffler cross over that goes under the bike frame, or a 2 into one system with single muffler, you have catalyst in your header pipe.  To get the best sound and performance this catalyst should be removed.  I have the non catalyst header pipes in stock.  If you have emmissions testing in your state or country these header pipes will probably not pass emissions testing and are sold for racing or performance use.  The purchaser is responsible for determining if they are legal in your State or country.  Email or call for details 412-309-0729

These header pipes have been cut apart and have 100% of the catalyst for maxium, flow and performance.

By factory pipes and keep the stock looks while still saving bucks.  I will need to know the year and model of your Harley after the auction when you send payment.

You are buying these exhaust from an experienced rider who started doing muffler modifications because other riders liked the sound and wanted mufflers like them.  I am continiously upgrading and improving my product.  I have run this style muffler on my last 3 Harleys and currently have them on my new Ultra.  I did not make Fuel system mods to any of them and they all ran stronger with nice gray color inside pipes.   Over 70,000 mile total..
