Infiniti EX35

Fri, 24 Aug 2007

The EX35 is a slightly smaller and more mainstream SUV than its FX bigger brother from which it takes its core 'coupe SUV' theme.  Despite the coupe design references, the vehicle is similar proportionally to the Lexus RX300 and BMW X3 which it will compete with in the US - and also in Europe when the Infiniti brand debuts next year.  Little different to the Infiniti EX concept shown in New York, the EX35 uses the core Infiniti graphic design signatures and soft form language but introduces a new flowing side feature line not seen on the Infiniti G37 Coupe launched a few months ago. Interesting technical innovations include the 'Around View Monitor' that uses four cameras to give a 'top-down view' of the outside of the car, and 'Scratch Shield' - a new self-healing clearcoat paint. CPP buys Bowler Offroad

Fri, 11 Mar 2011

Bowler Nemesis - Now made - and owned - by CPP Goodness, CPP Manufacturing are busy little bees at the moment. No sooner do we learn that CPP has bought Spyker Cars (well, strictly speaking it’s CPP Global Holdings Ltd who are hoovering up with Vladimir Antonov’s money) than we discover CPP has also acquired Bowler Offroad. For the uninitiated, Bowler are the makers of bonkers offroad vehicles that can probably be best described as Land Rover Supercars.

Peugeot RCZ Magnetic Limited Edition – it’s a black or white RCZ

Fri, 17 May 2013

The RCZ Magnetic gets based on the RCZ Sport but gets extra goodies added to make a special edition which costs less, say Peugeot, than if you specced a regular RCZ up to the same level. Extra equipment includes parking aids (front and back), interior sports kit (that’s a soft touch leather steering wheel and short shift gear lever), Peugeot Connect Nav (that’s sound and CD with Nav), Connect SOS and Assistance, 19″ Sortilege alloys with a matt black finish, Black Pack (which gives you a black finish on the roof arches, grill, mirrors and brake callipers) and Sports front seats. You only have the choice of two paint jobs – black and white – with the black RCZ Magnetic getting Metallic Nera black paint with red flame leather interior and the white RCZ Pearlescent Pearl white with black leather.
