NEW IN BOX COMP CAM COMPETITION CAMSHAFT PART #21-000-5

You are viewing a new in the box and plastic sheath Comp Cam competition performance camshaft part #21-000-5. We acquired this cam at a recent estate sale here in the Daytona Beach area. The previous owner was in the process of rebuilding and restoring a 383 engine but had not been able to work on it for over a year. The family was liquidating his garage full of parts and accessories. The box and cam have been stored in his garage so the box shows some wear but the part is new and still in the plastic sheath. The previous owner was into performance automobiles and was known as the "go to" person for all the "do-it-yourselfers" in the area. Please refer to the photographs and part # for more information and detail.

GM's headline concept car at today’s Paris motor show (Thursday 28), the Ultra previews Chevrolet's future design direction, as well as the Lacetti replacement. Although the muscular bodykit, ultra-wide track, funky graphics and slitty rear window will all be toned down for production, 'you won’t miss the connection when the production car arrives,' a GM insider told CAR Online.

First UK public Hydrogen Filling Station Opens Every car maker – well, every car maker with an eye to the future – is developing hydrogen fuel cell cars. Really, short of portable cold fusion becoming a reality, hydrogen is the only viable future for cars. So the opening of the UK’s first public hydrogen filling station today at Honda’s South Marston plant is a big deal.

U.S. set to raise fuel-economy standard

Tue, 19 May 2009

Government regulators will get their prize of higher fuel-economy standards, and automakers will get the certainty of a national emissions standard, under new rules to be proposed Tuesday by President Barack Obama. The fleet average fuel economy for automakers will rise to 35.5 mpg in 2016 under the president's proposal--10 mpg more than today's mandate. At the same time, the president's proposed rule will cut carbon emissions, thought to be a key factor in global warming.
