Infiniti sports car concept

Infiniti is readying an all-new, 'highly advanced' EV concept. Set to make its debut at the 2012 Geneva motor show the as-yet unnamed range-extending electric sports car plays to Infiniti's ‘Inspired Performance' moniker. According to the Japanese luxury brand, the mid-engined sports car features all the current Infiniti stylistic traits, such as the crescent-moon C-pillar and slick surfacing.

The Geneva Show sees a surprising newcomer to its stands in the shape of Fenomemon Ltd and their concept Stratos project. This new London-based vehicle design agency is led by a current student on the Royal College of Art's Vehicle Design course, Chris Hrabalek, who has masterminded a complete full-size mockup of a reborn Lancia Stratos concept for this year's Geneva Show. In a world where multinational companies spend several million dollars on a concept car and stand, that's a phenomenal achievement.

Subaru BRZ

Subaru's long-awaited BRZ finally surfaced in production format at Tokyo. After the BRZ-STi of LA two weeks ago, the production car loses the iconic Subaru high-level rear wing and other ‘go-fast' parts for an aesthetic close to the production ‘86' from Toyota. The cars low front end, thanks to its low-mounted boxer engine, boasts flared arches whilst the DRG features a large grille and accompanying lower bumper vents that differ from the 86.
