You are buying a brand new old stock Mercury Mercruiser Thunderbolt IV Ignition module & 84-15275A1 harness assembly.  A boat dealer just closed and liquidated his entire business including parts that are brand.  I included a picture of the box that the ignition and wiring were stored in.  There is a label on the top of the box with the stock numbers.  On the face of the ignition Mercruiser Thunderbolt IV is engrained in the metal and the numbers "1E30A V6-14" I'm not sure if this is the original box but I will include it with the ignition module and wiring harness.   It appears to me that the ignition and harness are new.  The paint is bright black on the front of the unit.  The back of the ignition module is not quite a bright as the front.  It appears that when the ignition module was originally manufactured they taped over the wiring harness where is snaps into the ignition and then painted over it.  The harness does not appear that it has ever been taken off of the ignition module.  Measures 6" high x 4" wide.  This Mercruiser ignition module & harness fits many Alpha 1 Gen I and Gen II from 1987-1992 with V6 4.3 engines.

Aston Martin reveals the 2012 V12 Vantage GT3 race car

Wed, 24 Aug 2011

Aston Martin V12 Vantage GT3 It’s been mooted for quite a while, but now it’s confirmed – AM are to replace the DBR9S race car with the Aston Martin V12 Vantage GT3. Built on Aston Martin’s now rather ancient V/H architecture modular chassis, the Vantage GT3 also features Aston Martin’s one and only engine – the V12 originally built from a pair of Ford Mondeo engines – which in the GT3 version will produce something in the region of 600bhp and 516lb/ft of torque. What the GT3 also gets – as the photo above clearly demonstrates - are new aerodynamics, which makes the GT3 seem much more aggressive than the V12 Vantage on which it’s based.

Tesla Model S turns in to Jaguar XF

Mon, 06 Jun 2011

Jaguar XF - or is it a Tesla? Tesla seem convinced – or at least they’re doing all they can to convince the public – that the Tesla Model S is a soon to be reality, despite all in the industry saying they can’t deliver what they are offering – a high-end, luxury, high-spec sports saloon with a 300 mile range – for the sort of money they claim. That money – as we learned recently – is to be $69,500 for the Tesla S with the 300 mile battery, a price that’s had many scratching their heads over how Tesla can stick enough laptop batteries in the Model S to go that far, and how they can do it at a price that’s a good thirty per cent less than the ‘Lotus-with-batteries’ Tesla Roadster.

College Exhibition: Royal College of Art Show 2007

Wed, 20 Jun 2007

The Royal College of Art's annual post graduate degree show had a new name and a new venue this year. Held for the first time in a large pavilion tent in Kensington Gardens, directly opposite the main Royal College of Art building, 'The Great Exhibition' commemorates the 150th birthday of the South Kensington cultural and educational institutions. Car Design News caught up with a few of the 18 Vehicle Design graduates at a private viewing on June 14th.
