Didn't make it to the 2009 LA Auto Show? Then you missed the ugliest Rolls-Royce Phantom Drophead Coupe ever made (see our pictures, right). Faced with the prospect of arch-rival Bentley showing off its new Azure T – a 500bhp version of the ultra-expensive convertible – in the same hall, Rolls was clearly wondering how to compete.
Aspid Cars released the first set of photos of its upcoming GT-21 Invictus sports car. We last heard from the Spanish company in May when it was admonishing us for Photoshopping its teaser photo into view. The GT-21 looks aggressive, angular and wildly styled by IFR Automotive.
Ferrari is used to building high-speed sports cars, but now it's undertaken a far more difficult design study: building the Ferrari sleigh for Father Christmas. Penned by the design team in Maranello led by Flavio Manzoni, the Ferrari supercar sleigh is said to use many of the design principles which underpin its roadgoing supercars such as the 458 Italia and California. It’s a lightweight sledge with the iconic Prancing Horse depicted on its flanks and racing numerals on the door panels.
