The projects consisted of a number of innovative and exploratory concepts, almost half of which, interestingly, were presented in digital form. Google is leading the charge towards autonomous driving, but most major car manufacturers are also dabbling in driverless cars.
Longtime auto journalist David E. Davis Jr. dies
Sun, 27 Mar 2011David E. Davis Jr., inarguably one of the deans of automotive journalism, died on Sunday, March 27, at age 80. Davis had been suffering from bladder cancer and underwent surgery a few days earlier.
