NEW PRO TAPER EVO HANDLEBARS

SILVER

BEND- CR HIGH

The EVO bar is the evolution of all the best features of the original Pro Taper® and Contour models.

  • The Pro Taper® EVO handlebar employs the latest blend of proprietary alloys and processing techniques in manufacturing.
  • The EVO model utilizes a computer profiled 4mm wall design, thus making the handlebar lighter and giving it a more sensitive feel.

  • The EVO is based on the same platform as our original Pro Taper® bar but we have added some great improvements including:
  • All EVO handlebars are manufactured to more exact rise and pullback specifications and tolerances to provide a consistent and accurate feel
  • Independent lab tests show that the EVO handlebars outlast every other handlebar on the market in fatigue life
  • The EVO handlebar incorporates a unique coating inside the tubing of the handlebar to resist corrosion
  • The use of left side knurling provides maximum grip traction
  • Chemically applied graphics are scratch resistant, can't peel and provide long lasting appeal
  • Handlebar end-plugs help keep the elements out of the handlebar tubing and aid in longer grip wear
  • EVO has the best balance between fatigue life, impact strength and impact absorbing flex

It’s still in pre-production form, but these shots reveal the finished look aside from the fake grille to fool ‘real’ spy photographers. The Tiguan has changed little since it was unveiled in concept form at the Los Angeles show last November and save for a bit of disguise around the lights VW isn’t leaving much to the imagination.

Ford recalling Explorer and E-series vans

    Tue, 21 Jan 2014

Ford is recalling its E-series van and Explorer SUV for two different reasons. The vans could develop bubbles in the windshield, decreasing visibility, while the Explorers need to have their steering gears checked. The van’s windshields were improperly manufactured, according to the NHTSA, some forming bubbles after an extended time in hot temperatures.

Volkswagen creates driving style-linked music app

    Thu, 28 Nov 2013

VOLKSWAGEN has created a new smartphone that improvises its own music based on how the car is being driven. Working with British electronic musicians Underworld, Volkswagen has built the experimental ‘Play the Road’ app to help celebrate the launch of the seventh generation Golf GTI. It works by connecting to the car and using its own in-built accelerometer to analyse speed, engine revs, steering, throttle and braking inputs and the urgency of each to create a unique, ever-changing music that ranges from serene background chillout vibes to fast-paced electronica.
