The SSBC Performance Brake Systems Vacuum Pump is a must for any vacuum power assist vehicle with less than 15" of vacuum at idle. The electric vacuum pump kit is used when the proper amount of vacuum is not being generated. Utilizing a 12v easy wire system, the pump produces up to 20" of vacuum. This electric vacuum pump will provide the proper amount of vacuum to your brake booster when running a high-lift or aftermarket cam. Hooks directly up to your booster. Kit includes all necessary components for an easy install. The kit contains a vacuum switch that cycles the pump on & off.

Bus service cuts 'at critical level'
Wed, 11 Dec 2013CUTS TO bus services are now reaching "critical levels", according to a report by the Campaign for Better Transport (CBT). As many as 47% of local authorities in England and Wales have reduced their support for buses for 2013, while the 2014/15 financial year is likely to be a difficult one for bus services, said CBT. Three councils have stopped supporting services and others might follow, warned the CBT, whose report is entitled Buses In Crisis and is based on responses to Freedom of Information Act requests made to all local transport authorities regarding supported buses.
Tesla Model S battery fire inquiry closed by NHTSA
Fri, 28 Mar 2014The National Highway Traffic Safety Administration said it closed a three-month-long investigation of fires in the Tesla Model S this week, as Tesla announced a design change to better shield the electric car's batteries. Tesla Motors Inc. said today it has started building the Model S with a titanium underbody shield to prevent battery fires like the two that occurred in the United States last year when Model S drivers struck road debris.
