You are bidding on a Brand New Wilwood Midget Inboard Rotor Mount Kit (Wilwood Part #270-10757).

  • Splined collar will  fit 38 spline center on both 31 and 36 Splined Midget Rear Ends
  • 6 x 5.50" Bolt Circle
  • At 1.32 lbs., this is the lightest axle clamp & floating rotor mount kit available
  • The splined clamp maintains a fixed position on the axle and the slotted adapter plate allows the rotor to "float" on T-Nuts at the mounting points
  • Stresses and distortion from thermal expansion that can lead to component fatigue and harsh pedal feedback to the driver are virtually eliminated
  • A small margin of lateral float keeps the rotor centered between the pads to assure a complete release and no drag during acceleration
  • The "T-Nut" mounting system allows the rotor to expand & contract independently of the mount as the rotor goes through temperature changes
  • This eliminates all strain & bind at the mounting points
  • The rotor runs truer, lasts longers, & all undo stress on the mount is eliminated
  • This mounting system is preferred in all applications where temporary, but extreme temperature spikes may cause high expansion rates in the steel

Fri, 28 Feb 2014

With the release date of “Need for Speed” looming on March 14, Ford said on Friday that the film's star, a customized 2014 Mustang GT, will roll across the auction block April 12 at Barrett-Jackson in West Palm Beach, Fla. The silver screen celebrity is not your average GT. It was massaged by the folks at Ford and given a bag full of goodies.

Hyundai U.S. fuel economy mess cleverly sorted

Fri, 30 Nov 2012

Hyundai and Kia’s misstated fuel economy figures in the U.S. could have been a PR disaster, but it looks like prompt action has limited any real damage. We moan constantly about ‘Official’ fuel economy figures (yes, we moan a lot).

Lotus Exige S V6 rolls off the production line

Fri, 27 Jul 2012

The Lotus Exige S V6 with the 3.5 litre Supercharged engine from the Evora S has started rolling off the production line at Hethel. How nice to be able to report a new car arriving from Lotus instead of more doom and gloom. The Lotus Exige S V6, with the supercharged 3.5 litre engine we first saw in the Evora S, has started to roll off the production line (actually, ‘production line’ me be a bit of an exaggeration) and is heading off to its new owner.
