Mercedes G63 AMG 6×6 vs G63 AMG (video)
Sun, 24 Nov 2013Mercedes G63 AMG 6×6 vs G63 AMG The Mercedes G 63 AMG is a mad car in its own right (although not as mad as the G 65) and costs almost £125k before you start ticking any option boxes. But the G 63 AMG is bullet proof, will go anywhere and does come with many of the luxuries you’d rightfully expect in a £125k car, even if its on-road handling – particularly if you decide to make the most of the 5.5 litre V8 turbo’s performance – is pretty woeful round the bends. Mad and irrational though the G 63 may be, it now has an even madder sibling – the Mercedes G 63 AMG 6×6 – which not only adds an extra axle for 6WD but comes at a price – almost £400k – that makes the G 63 seem a bargain.
2012 Nissan 370Z Facelift – if you look really closely
Tue, 07 Feb 2012The 2012 Nissan 370Z gets a mild tweak - debuts at the Chicago Motor Show The Nissan 370Z is getting a facelift for 2012 – which will debut this week at the Chicago Motor Show – but it’s not extensive. All the car buzz at the moment – at least around new models – is about the Geneva Motor Show in March. Which might explain why the 2012 Nizzan 370Z facelift is getting paraded on a much quieter stage at the Chicago Motor Show. Because we’re struggling to see what exactly Nissan has done to the 370Z for 2012.
BMW M235i leaks out ahead of 2-Series debut
Tue, 22 Oct 2013BMW M235i leaks out ahead of 2 Series debut BMW started the tease for the new 2-Series over the weekend with a ver brief video, and are planning on debuting their replacement for the 1 Series Coupe at the end of the week. But car makers best laid plans usually go awry now the world has smartphone cameras and the Interwebs are beckoning, so it’s no big surprise we have the first photo of a new 2-Series – in this case the M235i – ahead of its official reveal. Snapped at a dealer presentation by a member of 2addicts forum, the new 2 Series looks pretty much like the 1-Series from the front with a coupe roof sloping down to a new back end.
