Always route strap UNDER any cables and wires to prevent pinching or damage. Do not allow strap to twist. Route strap upward over steering neck, and down the other side. Attach the remaining end of strap and Tighten strap slightly to remove slack. Torque bolts on both sides to 28 FT/LBS. WHEN YOU ARE DONE RACING, SIMPLY PRESS THE LEVER ON THE CAM BUCKLE AND YOU WILL NOW BE BACK TO STOCK RIDE HEIGHT. NO NEED TO REMOVE THIS FROM THE BIKE COMPLETELY (UNLESS YOU WANT TO) THIS WAY IT IS ALWAYS THERE READY FOR ACTION. *It is the buyer’s responsibility to research fitment of these straps on his or her application. Next Volvo XC90 to ditch dashboard buttons
Tue, 03 Jun 2014VOLVO is looking to the future of in-car technology in next year's new XC90 by doing away with almost all buttons and replacing them with a new combination of a touch-screen, a head-up display and steering wheel-mounted thumb wheels. The system is designed to make better use of the available interior space while reducing distractions for the driver, but it will mean that users will have to start from scratch to learn how to operate even the car's most basic interior functions. To make it worthwhile Volvo is integrating new features like remote 'Park and Pay' applications and the ability to use and mirror Apple iOS apps in the interface.
NY Times reporter says he followed Tesla's advice
Fri, 15 Feb 2013A New York Times reporter says he was following the advice of Tesla employees when he drove an electric Model S sedan beyond its indicated range in an effort to reach a recharging station. Responding to a blog post by Tesla Motors CEO Elon Musk highly critical of his original article, Times reporter John Broder on Thursday said he did not set out to sabotage the test drive -- refuting one of Musk's most-damning points. Broder also refutes Musk's claim that he drove the car around a parking lot in a deliberate attempt to fully discharge the battery -- Broder says he was looking for the recharge station in a poorly lighted rest stop at night.
New Routemaster bus hits London streets
Mon, 27 Feb 2012The very first new Routemaster hybrid bus began its first day of service in London today. The bus, whose exterior and interior were designed by Londoner Thomas Heatherwick, retains the distinct character of the old Routemaster – British as the London taxi and red telephone boxes – but is far more modern in its design and construction. The new Routemaster's main design features are its three sets of doors and two staircases, which it is hoped will ease the strain during rush hour in regards to alighting and entering the bus.
