This Delco cd player with cassette looks excellent and works like brand new manufactured March 30th of 1998. This has an auxiliary fan on

the back for thermal circuitry protection and plays copied cd's (CDR) as well as store purchased ones. This will work with your steering wheel controls and

heads-up display also. It has excellent audio control with the auto tone button for rock, jazz, pop and even news as well as separate treble and bass controls.

This is unlocked and ready to plug-in and play. Instructions are included for the optional theft-lock feature to program your own made 4-digit code in case you

would like to activate the theftlock. This will make the red indicator light on the radio blink when you are away from your car as theft deterrent. There is a

tiny  crack in each of the the four small buttons (bal, fade, treble and bass) but does not effect tuning ability in any way.  The cable that connects

these two units together is included.

Ford Fiesta – Good. Fiesta advertising – not so good.

Thu, 10 Dec 2009

The billboard on a US Fiesta Display (click for bigger image) We have to hand it to Ford. They have handled the introduction of the Fiesta to the US market in a very clever, 21st century way. Their Fiesta Movement campaign paid big dividends and delivered a record level of awareness for a relatively unknown little car in the land of the V8 gas guzzler.

Ford has released first details of the new C-Max which will debut at Frankfurt Ford has released some detail of the new C-Max, which is the first car from Ford to use the next generation Ford Focus platform, and will come as either a five or seven seat car. Not only will the new C-Segment platform be used here in the C-Max, but it will also see use in not just the next generation Focus, but also in the eventual replacement for the Ford Kuga. The C-Max will very sensibly stick with the multi-link rear suspension that has given the current generation Focus such great driving dynamics, and it will also feature Ford’s 1.6 litre Ecoboost engine, which is equipped with a turbo and direct injection for improved economy and efficiency.

Concept Car of the Week: Plymouth XNR (1960)

Fri, 22 Feb 2013

In the early ‘50s, both GM and Ford offered attractive and exciting sports cars, symbols of a proud post-war America. Ford had the Thunderbird and GM the Corvette, but Chrysler's approach was more pragmatic, producing cars that were practical and robust but also slow. After commissioning a long series of concepts designed by Italian carrozzeria Ghia, Chrysler gave a free hand to its design chief Virgil Exner to inject some life into its lineup.
