Infiniti European range launched

Nissan’s upmarket Infiniti brand officially launched its European range in Geneva, essentially a slimlined and simplified interpretation of its US model line-up: G37 coupe and saloon, EX37 coupe crossover and an all-new V8 coupe crossover to sit at the top of the range: the FX50. The latter model is essentially a scaled up EX37, though the nose treatment is notably bluffer and, to our eyes, a little too severe.
Arsenal stars team up to test new Citroen

Striker Olivier Giroud, midfield man Santi Cazorla, defensive supremo Per Mertesacker and the safe hands of Wojciech Szczęsny teamed up to headline a football-themed test of the car’s new features. They highlight the wide door and boot openings with a spot of free-kick and goalkeeping practice, before 1.98-metre Mertesacker lies along the length of the available load space with all six passenger seats folded down.
Europe trailing on ESP safety
Fri, 21 Feb 2014NOT ENOUGH new cars in Europe are being specified with an electronic stability programme (ESP) that is proved to be most important safety system in prevent collisions. Research by Frost and Sullivan has found Europe is lagging behind North America, where there is almost 100% success with fitting news cars with ESP. Despite ESP being included in the European New Car Assessment Programme since 2011, the study shows there has been only a minimal increase in the number of cars sold that have ESP.
