The YakBitz Yakker 2 Port Multiplexer combines the NMEA 0183 data 2 devices such as Fish Finder/GPS/Chart Plotter/AIS Receiver etc and sends it to your Wifi enabled Phone/Tablet/PC.
This enables navigation software like Navionics, OpenCPN etc to use your depth and location data.

Here's a YouTube video showing how the YAKKER used in conjunction with Navionic's awesome charting app can generate accurate depth contours whether for fishing or navigation safety. This is especially useful for areas like rivers where the depths constantly change or dams where there is no depth information at all.

Very simple to connect and set up. Just connect 3 wires as shown below:
GPS etc. YAKKER
12V --------------- 12V
GND -------------- GND
Tx Device 1 ------ Rx1
Tx Device 2 ------ Rx2

Once powered up the YAKKER creates a WiFi hotspot. Connect to this with your Wifi Phone/Tablet etc using the default password of 12345678.
Next start your browser and enter 192.168.4.1 into the address bar to get the setup screen shown above. Now you can set the baud rate(speed) to match your equipment setting.
