In fact, the 2012 Honda Civic will be the ninth generation of the Civic over nearly 40 years. The flagship BMW coupes and convertibles have an illustrious past and most are icons in their own right. The exhibition features 14 individual exhibits that span from the pre-war 327 and 327/28 Convertible and Coupe through to the current F12/13 6-Series.

When VW revealed the Eos facelift last month at Frankfurt there was little more on offer than a bit of a nose job to bring the Eos up to date with Volkswagen’s family nose. True, VW has played a bit at the back end and there’s talk of more ‘Premium’ interiors on the 2011 Eos, but it all adds up to not very much.
