This is a rubber NOS spare tire lock boot for all 1963-1979 Corvettes. I have a very limited supply of these boots. Comes in the original GM bag. GM # 3841701 Gr# 7.675. These are the real McCoy.
Don't fall for buying the repro boots just because they are cheap. The repro material is too hard and too rigid and it's very obvious to the judges that they are not GM quality. The repros are bad copies, made offshore as is expected. If you see an e-bay auction for a lock boot and the seller does not show you any GM packaging, you can be sure the boot is a cheap, off-shore knock-off. Fri, 13 Jun 2014The new Mercedes AMG GT (pictured) gets the new 503 bhp Twin-Turbo 4.0 litre V8 We’ve speculated that the new Mercedes AMG GT – and, for that matter, futures ’63′ AMGs – will get a new twin-turbo V8 to provide the power as Mercedes look to move away from the naturally aspirated 6.2 litre V8 in cars like the SLS. And this is it. A new 4.0 litre twin-turbo V8 – the M178 engine – has been developed to replace the 6.2 litre V8 and, in initial tune, develops 503 bhp at 6250 rpm and 479lb/ft of torque from just 1750 rpm.

The new Jag F-type will go on sale in a year's time, in early summer 2013, as a convertible first with an F-type coupe to follow in 2014. Huntsman U-Box concept explores use of carbon materials
Wed, 23 Mar 2011If you attended our Car Design Night at this year's Geneva motor show, you may well have seen the U-Box concept vehicle parked outside the entrance. Developed by Huntsman Advanced Materials, this 'last mile' delivery vehicle is a showcase of the company's composite materials expertise. "The D3 Group [based in Paris] designed the car and also came up with the idea of 'last-mile delivery'," explains Harald Wiedemann, Vice President of Huntsman Advanced Materials (EMEAI).
