Just a bit about iowa_bowtie:
Our inventory is old Chevy dealer stock. We have New Old Stock (NOS) from the 30s to the 80s. Almost all of our parts are GM NOS for Chevrolets, but there are times that they are also a fit for other GM models including Buick, Oldsmobile, Pontiac and Cadillac. We have a large array of parts, but unfortunately no inventory list… so we encourage you to add us to your Favorite Sellers and enjoy the search with us. We try to list pairs if we have them available (if a left and right are needed), but sometimes we will find a mate later so keep watching each week. If you get a 2nd Chance Offer from iowa_bowtie, it's legitimate... Dad sometimes had more than one. Holden Hurricane returned to glory

Wed, 19 Oct 2011

Holden, the Australian arm of General Motors famous for its thumping V8-powered super-saloons, has lovingly restored its first-ever concept car from the late 1960s. Debuting at the 1969 Melbourne Motor Show, the sleek Hurricane concept was a mid-engine, rear-drive, two-seat sports car that embodied a variety of conceptual technologies that were years – decades even – ahead of its time. The Hurricane featured a digital instrument display, station-seeking radio and automatic temperature control air conditioning.

Citroen's Survolt charges into life at Le Mans Classic

Tue, 13 Jul 2010

French cars, Belgian drivers and a French track sounds like a recipe for Gallic flair (well, almost). And so it proved at the weekend when Vanina Ickx, daughter of six-time winner at Le Mans, lapped the track in the new Citroen Survolt concept car. Also lapping the French track at the 2010 Le Mans Classic was the GTbyCITROEN concept car, alongside a brace of DS3s.

BMW's EfficientDynamics teaser (2010)

Wed, 15 Sep 2010

This rather strange looking black BMW is the German car company’s latest publicity stunt. Painted matt black, and with ‘dontblogaboutthis’ emblazoned across its flanks, it is of course a tease designed to get forums fanatics and bloggers worked up into a frenzy as everyone tries to guess what it is. BMW has released just a few photos, plus a couple of videos, all of which are on www.dontblogaboutthis.com.
