NOS 1971 72 73 74 75 76 77 78 79 Ford F350 Truck Bed Lower Rack Connector Latch

This listing is for a NOS lower rack connector latch for the 1971 1972 1973 1974 1975 1976 1977 1978 and 1979 F350 with the body type 86 (rack bed). Part number D1TZ-8628740-A. Books says one required per truck. This is the lower "J" type latch. Go ORIGINAL Ford!! If you need a replacement or an extra, here it is.

I am currently listing many small, hard to find, NOS Ford, Lincoln, and Mercury parts. I do not have EVERY parts book Ford put out, but I do have most and will make every attempt to accurately describe the item, it's application(s), and the years it was in service.

Please keep in mind that while these are NOS parts manufactured by or for Ford, there may be something that is unforeseen in quality or present due to storage, such as discoloration, shelf and box rubs, light scuffing, residues, etc. Most of these parts have been sitting on a dealership shelf and are between 20 and 50 years old. I don't sell junk, broken, or obviously unusable parts. Those are for the trash. If a part is missing, or needs some attention due to chrome spotting, shelf grime, or surface rust, I will note it. These items are often one of a kind and obsolete from Ford. As such, all items are sold as is. Also, it's hard for me to visualize where on a car or truck each and every part may go since I list thousands of different parts from 1932 grill trim to the seat back bushings on a 1992 F-250. The buyer will have to rely on either shop experience, knowledge of their car or truck, and a visual comparison with the photo(s) in conjunction with what I have described, to make a determination as to exact fit or application as it pertains to their vehicle.
