Just e-mail me if you have any issues with your purchase. Please ask questions before bidding if my description is not clear enough for you. I am not an expert on most of the items I have on auction, but I try to describe any obvious defects. I will be happy to send additional photo's if necessary to clarify condition prior to bidding. Most items are not new unless otherwise noted, so please take that into account. Returns must be in same condition as shipped. Thanks Return shipping will be paid by:Buyer Restocking Fee:No

IMPORTANT:  THIS GLASS WILL BE SHIPPED IN TWO INDIVIDUAL BOXES.  THE SHIPPING CHARGE THAT YOU SEE FROM EBAY IS FOR ONE BOX ONLY.  AT THE END OF THE AUCTION I WILL SEND YOU AN INVOICE WITH THE CORRECT SHIPPING CHARGE FOR 2 BOXES, WHICH WILL BE TWICE THAT SHOWN BY EBAY.  DO NOT PAY THE AUTOMATIC NOTICE FROM EBAY, BUT WAIT FOR MY INVOICE.

Now that that's out of the way, I'll go on with the description.  These are NOS LOF windshields in their original box.  They are LOF # WW68 (right) and WW69 (left).  according to the LOF catalog, they fit 1948-1949 Cadillac, models 61, 61, and 60 Special (Fleetwood); 1948-1949 Oldsmobile 98 4-door; and 1949 Buick Roadmaster 4-door.  However, please be sure of your application.  Both have the LOF engraving on the corner of the glass.  I can't find any defects, other than a very small chip on one corner on the inside glass (tried to show it in the photo) which I believe would be covered up with the trim.  The original boxes are designed  to protect the glass during shipment, but because of the age and condition of the boxes, I will package each of them (kept in their original box) in a new box, well protected and insured.  I'm showing FEDEX and USPS shipping, but if there is a better way, I'd be glad to do it.  The shipping weigh of each box is approx 20 lbs.  I hope that someone can use these.  Please e-mail me if you have any questions, and thanks for looking.

Dodge Viper takes Nurburgring Record – sort of

Fri, 16 Sep 2011

Dodge Viper - new Nurburgring record Back in 2008, the Dodge Viper ACR went to the Nurburgring and proved that cars built in the former Colonies really can go round bends, even bends at the ‘Green Hell’ of the Nurburgring. Not only could the Dodge Viper go round bends, but it made a pretty good fist of blasting down the straights too, culminating in a record-breaking lap of 7:22.1. But since 2008 things have moved on, with even a Lexus LFA posting a ‘Ring time of 7:14.64, so the SRT has returned to the Nordschleife to set about squeezing a bit more out of the Viper.
