You are bidding on a New Old Stock BMW Factory Accessory Mud Flaps for possibly BMW 2002? cars. The date code on the package is 1979. The flaps are near mint; there is one nut missing. They are a very hard rubber with the BMW logo. The hardware is attached., and they are in the original BMW bag. They measure 9 1/2" wide by 13 1/2" high (maximum). The height to the mounts is 11 1/2", and the mounts are 4 1/4" on center. Why settle for less than NOS? .

The list of manufacturers that offer launch control is getting a bit longer. Ford is joining Audi, BMW, Chevrolet, Ferrari, Lamborghini, Mitsubishi, Nissan, Porsche and a few boutique makers with its 2013 Shelby Mustang GT500. It's not so easy to get 662 hp down to the ground successfully, so Ford does it for you with overclocked computers and precise brake, throttle and clutch control.

Ferrari 458 Italia recalled because of fires

Ferrari is recalling 1,248 copies of the 458 Italia to replace an adhesive prone to catching fire. The adhesive is used in the wheel-arch assemblies. If it overheats, it can ignite.

Volvo sets prices for 2010 models

Volvo Cars of North America has set prices on its 2010 models. On Monday, the automaker released a pricing list that ranges from an S80 V8 AWD A for $51,800 to a C30 T5 manual for $24,950, including the $850 shipping charge. Volvo has also set the price for its newest version of the XC60.
