Offered is a NEW old stock Carter Climatic Control. The only id number is a 9. It was "bulk" stored at Carter and I can not confirm application or part number.

It is identical to one listed on Ebay. That ad calls it a GM 563134 fitting 1955-1961 Chevrolet and Corvette with 2x4's.

Another is listed with a longer Carter number and is $500.

I suspect this is a later Carter replacement and is priced accordingly.

The spring hook is at a 1 o'clock mounted position...roughly half way between the two c's between Climatic * Control....above the leanest arrow head.

Again...my description is to the best of my knowledge. Feel free to educate me....or just buy it "and leave me a'wondering".

Paradoxically, the news coverage also illustrates just how safe air travel normally is. After all, more people are lost every day in road accidents than in even the biggest air disaster.
