This is a standard mirror that was an option on many Ford models from 1967-1974.
These models include:
1967-1968 Mustang & Cougar
1967-1974 Galaxie
Full Size Mercury
1967/up Fairlane, Torino & Ranchero
as well as other Ford and Mercury models.
It was serviced by Ford to fit both sides but you can see a little angle to the head in the last picture.
It is brand new in its original Ford box and in very nice condition.
The overall base measures 6 5/8 inches with 5 7/8 inches from hole to hole.
Mirror Glass is coded 9-DMI-7
The box that it came in is date coded 7K19 OCT. 19, 1977
The Mirror Glass is clear with no scratches and has a gray tint
The chrome is unscratched, but, does show the beginnings of pitting.

Mon, 02 Mar 2009Audi is bucking the trend among luxury automakers who are churning out hardtop convertibles, as the new A5/S5 cabriolets that will reach these shores in October will be the old-fashioned, soft-top design. While other manufacturers such as BMW, Mercedes-Benz, Lexus and Volvo, among others, offer folding hard-tops, Audi says the compromise necessary to make room for the top and all its mechanical apparatus makes a soft-top the right choice for a small to mid-size convertible. The soft top is well insulated; even during a steady rain during our first drive of the car, the cabin was relatively quiet.
Smart car inventor Nicolas Hayek dies
Wed, 30 Jun 2010Nicolas Hayek, the engineer and industrialist who founded the Swiss watch company Swatch and brought the world the Smart car, died on June 28 of heart failure at his office in Switzerland. He was 82. Hayek saved the Swiss watch industry from lower-priced Asian competition in the early 1980s by offering colorful, inexpensive Swatch timepieces that he backed with equally colorful marketing.

It will begin winding down the Saab operation immediately. There had been a glimmer hope for Saab earlier this month, as supercar maker Spyker stepped in as a possible suitor after similarly small sports car specialist Koenigsegg walked away from a potential deal in November 2009.But GM admitted it could not viably sell Saab to Spyker – and no other bidders were forthcoming.
