NOS Ford Falcon Heater Blower Motor 60 61 62 63 64 65 66 67 68 69 70

NOS Motorcraft 12 volt heater motor. Part number D1ZF-18527-AB. Book lists 1960-1970 Falcon without air conditioning. 5/16" shaft diameter, 1 1/4" shaft length, clockwise rotation. The motor is 3" diameter, body length is 4". The stud center distance is 2 5/16". Two wires. This motor is new, not remanufactured, or reproduced. This is an original type motor, not one of the smaller universal, import motors the catalog guys are selling. You know, the ones with two extra studs out the back end. Please check your needs before you bid. Some applications may vary, so it is best to compare this to your motor before bidding. Replace your old, rusty, noisy, motor with a new, genuine Ford, motor. No returns on installed electrical parts. We will guarantee new and working, but just like your Ford parts dealer, we will not take back after it's been installed. The motor has a few imperfections in the paint, as Ford made service replacement parts, not show car parts.

Show Review: Design LA

Mon, 18 Dec 2006

Design LA, the automotive design conference that incorporates the Design Challenge competition, has announced its winners, during this year's LA Motor Show. Chuck Pelly, who set up Design LA last year, introduced the event and the judges for the Design Challenge: Tom Matano , Director, Academy of Art University; Imre Molner, Dean, College of Creative Studies; Steward Reed, Chair, Transportation Design, Art Centre College of Design; and Bill Van Amburg, Senior Vice President, Calsart. This year's nine competition entries had a brief to deliver a 100 percent recyclable, five-year lifespan vehicle with 'accoutrements that add fun or function to represent California's unique green lifestyle.' The Acura FCX 2020 Le Mans is a Le Mans-style race car concept notable for its enclosed wheels and motorbike style forward-inclined driving position between the front wheels (which can just be made out in the translucent illustration shown here).

Kia Car Design Award winners announced in Beijing

Wed, 30 May 2012

The first Kia Car Design Award was successfully concluded on 20 May in Beijing, with Chinese student Li Bai being presented the prize for first place by Seon-Ho Youn, Vice President of Kia Design Center. Bai, from Tsinghua Academy of Fine Arts, became the first ever winner of the award for his Kia Rhyme Concept, described by Seon-Ho Youn as "a perfect combination of design and Chinese culture." Bai's luxury sports car concept was inspired by Chinese philosophy, which can be seen in the headlamp design that reflects the traditional Chinese Ba gua, or ‘Eight Diagrams'. These are eight diagrams used in Taoist cosmology that represent the fundamental principles of reality through three lines, each line either 'broken' or 'unbroken', representing either yin or yang.
