Saint Paul, Minnesota, United States
Condition:New other (see details)

This antenna is New Old Stock in the original package (which has been opened).  The antenna, wire, grommet, and connector are completely new, never installed, and fully intact.  THE MOUNTING KIT, HOWEVER, IS COMPLETELY MISSING.  The mast telescopes into 3 sections. The original Ford box and instructions are included per the photos.  I do not know why the kit is missing, I may have installed the mounting kit on a car many years ago and simply forgot. The part has been stored in dry conditions since new, there is zero evidence of corrosion on any of the components. If you have mounting hardware and would like a N.O.S. mast, this part may be what you are looking for.

Mon, 04 Mar 2013

Jaguar has taken the new F-Type V8 S to Jabbeke for sprint testing then on to Geneva in convoy with XK 120, C-type, D-type and E-type sports cars. So Jaguar took the F-Type off to Jabbeke, Belgium – where Jaguar’s test driver Norman Dewis managed a world record flying mile speed of 172.4mph in an XK 120 60 years ago – and put Le Mans driver Andy Wallace in the driver’s seat to see how quickly the F-Type V8 S would go. Andy had just a two mile stretch of closed road to play with the F-Type and yet managed a 0-179-0 with a clocked time of 4.2 seconds to 62mph on the way.
