Box has no lid, part has small splotches so is not show car shape, but it should not affect its performance. Sold as is. As always, it is best for you to verify the part application for accuracy. Please remember NOS does not mean perfect. I try to list flaws, but I do miss some, so if you are not happy, please let me know and I will try to make it right. Many of my parts also need cleaning, since we live next to a farm, and they are stored in a pole building. I do not clean them for fear of damaging them. I charge actual shipping costs, but no handling costs, and try to ship within 24 hours Monday - Friday, although I allow various amounts of time depending on the location, size, and weight of the item. I package carefully and use materials appropriate for the item I am shipping. I ship USPS priority mail except for heavy parts. I will leave feedback after you have left it for me so I know you have received it and are satisfied. Refunds will be given only if I have listed a part incorrectly. Thanks for looking, and good luck.

MINI compares Classic Mini to Porsche 911
Thu, 06 Jun 2013The Classic Mini & Classic Porsche 911 A comparison between the classic Mini and the Porsche 911 may not be the most obvious, but that hasn’t stopped MINI jumping on the 911′s 50th anniversary year with a comparison between the two iconic cars. MINI assert that the similarities between the classic Mini and the 911 are based on their ‘Forever Young’ ethos (which is, in no small part, down to the fact both are still clearly similar to the original design) and their performance. The Mini arrived before the 911 – Mini in 1959, 911 in 1963 – but both turned the car world on its head with a delightful turn of design, speed and appeal, with the original Mini ending up selling 5.3 million and the, still continuing, 911 starting to close in on a million sales.

Toyota announces winners in design competition (w/ Video)
Tue, 20 Jan 2009Toyota has announced the winners of a sponsored design competition hosted by London's Royal College of Art. Based on the theme of ‘Intelligent Urban Living', the winners include a simple but effective vertical storage system to keep bikes out of reach of thieves and a keyboard display that makes life easier for two-fingered typists. Inspired by the design of Toyota's innovative iQ city car, which addresses many of the challenges of modern city living with its compact dimensions, the contest generated inspiration that gave a new twist to some familiar household objects and produced innovations to make modern life easier and more environmentally responsible.
