Up for your auction bids is this beautiful NOS Mopar REAR bumper guard kit, P/N 3481818, for 1970 Dodge Monaco and Polara models. New in the original factory box, this kit is comprised of the chrome steel bumper guards, black rubber cushions (that attach to guards), and all hardware for attaching cushions to guards, and guards to rear bumper. Never used or installed, and all new in the original factory Mopar box and wrapping. Please note: I also have the matching NOS front bumper guard kit (p/n: 3481817) to this for 1970-71 Monaco / Polara (apparently fronts fit two years cars) in another of my current listings, just in case you would want a rear and front set in NOS shape for your car! I also can save you on combined shipping-- if you buy them both.
Featured 1970 Dodge Monaco / Polara rear bumper guard kit has beautiful original factory chrome, that is shiny, bright, and clean, and has no rust pits, dents, dings, or scratches. The black rubber guards have no gouges, nicks, or scrapes. All mounting studs on cushions are nice. Hardware is all original in its original envelope, and has very nice plating still overall. All is suitable for a top-conditon / show-grade car-- in my opinion. Original Chrysler box is in very good shape still too. Don't miss these great shape original Mopar NOS pieces at my reasonable opening bid price here. Getting to be some very hard guards to find NOS anymore. Be sure to put in those good bids today! Pforzheim University Winter Degree Show 2009
Thu, 12 Mar 2009Transportation Design students at Germany's Pforzheim University displayed their work in the school's summer degree show last month, one of two graduation shows held every year by the renowned college. The exhibition included work from graduating Diploma and Masters students, first- and second-semester Masters students, as well as exterior and interior projects by the fifth- and seventh-semester BA students. The newly introduced Bachelor course covers the Transportation Design program in seven semesters (replacing the eight-semester Diploma course) with students embarking on specialized transportation projects in their second semester.

Toyota will compete at 2012 Le Mans with a hybrid
Fri, 14 Oct 2011Toyota today announced it would compete at the 2012 Le Mans 24-hour race with a hybrid sports car in the LMP1 class. This single rendering has been issued of the new Toyota hybrid race car. The Japanese giant has not competed at Le Mans in a factory team since the late 1990s with the GT-One, which set a lap record in 1999.
