Hello,up for bids is a very rare find- 1 pr(2pcs.)Factory original-NOS Metal Adhesive Backed Door Jamb Plates,Turquoise for all 1964-68 General Motors Cars (all Makes & Models)

These are the embossed metal plate with raised letters(NOT a sticker) that is in the door jamb of every GM vehicle from 1964-1968 (turquoise in color, starting in 1969,they went to blue). My camera makes it look bluer than it is.

These are NOS-not reproduction,or cheap import----

I had these verified as NOS by our local Camaro-GM car expert,Bob Harris of Camaro Specialties in East aurora New York.

There are several differences between the reproductions, and the originals, most notably the stamping of the lettering is much sharper than repo. There are also differences in the size of the lettering, blocks, and borders.Look at the difference in the gap in the G,in GM for instance. The originals are also much more reflective.(hard to get a good picture).

I have pictured a new reproduction along side an original in picture # 6 & 7,reprduction being on right in both.

The only downside to 40+ year old emblems,is the glue on the backing paper is dried out,so you will have to remove, and remount your own.

First is the new 9-3 Biopower, a full range of saloon, estate and convertible 9-3s, all powered by a 1.8-litre turbocharged engine that's been modified to run on both unleaded and E85 (85 percent ethanol, 15 percent petrol). The mechanical changes include hardened valves and valve seats, and a new stainless steel fuel tank and ancilliaries, adding up to what's expected to be a £600 premium in the showroom over the standard 9-3.
