Nissan NV200 (2012): London's next taxi cab?
Tue, 07 Aug 2012The London black cab is being thoroughly rebooted, and it's Nissan who's challenging the dominance of the traditional black taxi. It's brought a new NV200 London Taxi to the capital during the 2012 Olympics in its bid to replace one of the world's most iconic vehicles. Nissan claims the NV200 cab will be cheaper, greener, and more user-friendly than the current fleet of LTI TX4s, and we may yet see a fully electric version join the ranks if trials are successful.
Scotland to ban petrol and diesel cars by 2050?

This is according to a new “Switched On Scotland” document, intended to serve as a ‘roadmap’ towards the future that encourages businesses and private motorists to swap to electric vehicles (EVs). Sun, 20 Oct 2013Mercedes begin the tease for the new C Class With the new Mercedes A Class and derivatives – particularly the new CLA – pushing in to the part fo the market held by the C-Class, it’s time for a new C Class. And that looks like it’s happening at bthe Detroit Auto Show in January. Ahead of that debut, it seems Mercedes are teasing the arrival of the 2014 C Class with the video below (they don’t say as much, but it has to be), a new C Class that looks set to grow in size and push upmarket.
