Thanks for viewing my auction! I describe my items honestly and as completely as my knowledge of the item allows. I do not omit anything that I notice about any item. The photos in this listing are of the actual item you will receive - I do not use substitute photos. Your complete satisfaction is my goal. If you are dissatisfied with your purchase, leaving me poor feedback without contacting me will not resolve the problem but if you contact me before leaving feedback, we will work it out to your satisfaction. Please feel free to ask any questions before you bid, I will respond soon as I can. I use USPS for shipping which I do every business day. Most items are automatically insured by the USPS. All items shipped to the USA will have delivery confirmation unless stated otherwise, and you will receive an email with the tracking number when I ship. Always glad to combine shipping when practical. I obtain most of my items at thrift stores, yard sales and auctions and I use both new and recycled stuff in good condition for packing and cannot say what any of my items or packing materials may have been exposed to before I get them. 6.75% sales tax is collected for shipments to Ohio addresses. My country exclusion list is based on shipper recommendations, not any personal bias.
Detroit can be a hard place to live, but for the car-inclined, it's also dotted with daily treasures that make the trouble worthwhile: Perhaps there's a manufacturer-plated Alfa Giulietta parked at the grocery store. A Chevrolet Volt parade cruising up Woodward Avenue on a random Wednesday. Or my treat this morning, a truckload of Green With Envy 2011 Dodge Challenger R/T Classics on their way to market.
The 3rd generation Toyota Prius (pictured) is being recalled
Toyota’s hasn’t had a lot of luck with recalls in the last few years, although the latest recall for the Toyota Prius isn’t quite on the scale we’ve seen for previous recalls. It’s only eight months since the last Toyota Prius recall – which affected around 5,000 Prius models in the UK from 2009 – but this latest recall is a lot more extensive, affecting third generation Prius built from March 2009 to February 2014 and totalling 30,790 cars in the UK and 1.9 million worldwide. The issue is a problem with the hybrid system’s boost converter software, which is used when the car is under heavy load such as accelerating hard from a standstill.
