Description :

For auction is a brand new OBX 4 tower coil pack for the 420A engine used in the Eclipse (non turbo models) and Dodge Neon. This is great for replacing the OEM unit which tends to fail after years of use. The result would cause mis-firing, poor engine response, and/or poor gas milage. This replacement part is a high powered unit that provides a stronger spark for fuel combustion. However, this unit uses a round pin terminal. The round pin plug was used on early model Eclipse / Neons from the years for Mitsubishi 2.0L from 1994 to early 1996 and Dodge 2.0L from 1995 to mid 1997. Years after those years a flat pin terminal was used, so it will require minor rewiring for proper operation when using this part. Please check your plug style prior to ordering if you wish not to do any rewiring. You can source the round pin harnesses from various places. From a junkyard would be the easiest. This kit comes with a 30 day warranty against manufacturing defects from OBX. Please read our sales terms and conditions for electrical items.

The stunning Jaguar C-X75 Concept Supercar was revealed in 2010 both to celebrate Jaguar’s 75th anniversary and to look at the futures possibilities for a resurgant Jaguar. Powered by four electric motors and a pair of micro-gas turbines, Jaguar said it had 780bhp at its disposal, could get to 62mph in 3.4 seconds, top out at over 200mph and run for 68 miles (in theory) on its batteries.

Daimler, Ford, Nissan team up on fuel cells

Ford Motor Co., Nissan Motor Co. and Mercedes-Benz parent company Daimler AG have formed a partnership aimed at speeding up the commercialization of fuel cell electric vehicle technology. Together, the automakers plan to develop a common fuel cell stack and fuel cell system to be used in what they describe as "highly differentiated, separately branded fuel cell electric vehicles" as early as 2017.

Chevrolet Volt fire probe is closed, NHTSA says

U.S. safety regulators said Friday that they've closed an eight-week investigation into the Chevrolet Volt, concluding that the plug-in hybrid's battery doesn't pose a significant fire risk following a crash. In a statement, the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration said it "does not believe that Chevy Volts or other electric vehicles pose a greater risk of fire than gasoline-powered vehicles." The agency said that modifications intended to reinforce the Volt's 435-pound lithium-ion battery pack that General Motors announced on Jan.
