Description : For sale is a new OBX Helical limited slip differential for the applications listed below: Volkswagen Golf 4, Jetta 4, New Beetle 5 speed (TDI, 1.8L, 1.8T, 2.0L, V5, VR6) with 02J transmissions (up to 2003 year); will not fit 2004 year. This kit includes new bearings and billet speedo ring. Speedo ring is to be used with aftermarket speedo sensor. If you are using original speedo sensor, you will need to reuse oem speedo ring. LSD also requires new ring gear bolts which can be sourced from ARP part number 204-3002 The helical limited slip differential is a torque sensing LSD that features smoothing operation and superior responsiveness. The unit does not require special oil like the clutch type limited slip differentials. Because it uses gears insead of clutches, it requires virtually no maintenence. The LSD operation is very predictiable and adds no excessive noise like clutch type LSDs normally do. Like all OBX differentials, this too is backed by their lifetime warranty program.
