This is a lightly used Ockam 005 instrument display that was installed on of a lovely 60' yacht. I purchased this display, and the whole lot of used equipment, from the owner here locally. I was told that the gear was recently professionally uninstalled during a refit on his boat and that everything works perfectly. I have many of the selector cards but will be selling them separately. This auction does not come with any selector cards. If you need a specific one ask and I may be able to include it in for a small fee.
This module is the basic output device of the Ockam system. The module can display up to four digits plus sign, and various decimal points and colon. The digits are one inch high and can be backlit for night viewing. Each display module is told what type of information to show by means of a selector "card". Each card consists of a legend area with the name of the function prominently displayed, and a set of magnets which are sensed by the display. The card thus tells the user what it is he is seeing, and tells the display what to show. Changing functions is as simple as removing one card, and clicking in another..

Honda NSX: 2013 Detroit Auto Show
Wed, 16 Jan 2013A new version of the Honda NSX Concept (Acura NSX) has been revealed at the 2013 Detroit Auto Show, this time with an interior. But last year, at the 2012 Detroit Auto Show, Honda turned up with the first concept of the new NSX, complete with a confession that this NSX wasn’t a done deal for production, but a work in progress. That work in progress is now back at the 2013 Detroit Auto Show and comes with a few tweaks to the styling but, more importantly, the first idea of how the interior will look when the new NSX does arrive in a couple of years (probably).

Porsche threatens to pull Boxster production from Magna
Fri, 25 Sep 2009Porsche is considering canceling an existing contract with Magna to build the next-generation Boxster and Cayman in Austria starting in 2013 and may instead move production to Karmann in Germany. The move would be aimed at protecting Porsche's closely guarded engineering and production cost secrets for its upcoming entry-level roadster and coupe. Porsche insiders say plans established under former boss Wendelin Weideking to build the Boxster and the Cayman at Magna's Graz factory in Austria are now being heavily reviewed following the Canadian/Austrian company's bid to take control of financially embattled Opel from General Motors.
