ITEM DESCRIPTION

This is a lightly used Ockam 022 Apparent Wind interface that was installed at the navstation of a lovely 60' yachtI purchased this, and the whole lot of used equipment, from the owner here locally.  I was told that the gear was recently professionally uninstalled during a refit on his boat and that everything works perfectly.  I have many of the selector cards but will be selling them separately, this auction does not come with any selector cards.  If you need a specific one ask and I may be able to include it in for a small fee.

MANUFACTURER'S DESCRIPTION

The Model 022 interface supplies the OCKAM system with apparent wind angle and speed, and heel angle. In conjunction with boatspeed, the system produces true wind, VMG, Leeway, Distance-Lost VMG, and boatspeed tack-to-tack calibration. Adding a Compass interface allows dead-reckoning functions, True Wind Direction, and Time to the Laylines.

Vauxhall Astra (2009): the first sketches

Mon, 08 Sep 2008

By Tim Pollard First Official Pictures 08 September 2008 09:00 Vauxhall has just issued these first official sketches of the new Astra ahead of its launch in 2009 at next year's Frankfurt motor show. Although heavily silhouetted, we can make out an evolution of today's mid-sized hatchback. This sketch is of the coupe-style three-door Astra, but there will again be a more upright five-door and indeed a whole suite of other Astras to fit every pocket.

Mitsubishi revamps U.S. strategy

Mon, 24 Jan 2011

Mitsubishi plans a different U.S. model lineup and a new production strategy for its assembly plant in Normal, Ill., as it shifts emphasis away from regionally focused vehicles to global small cars, hybrids and electrics. Shinichi Kurihara, CEO of Mitsubishi Motors North America, says the company will launch four new models in the United States within three years, as four slow-selling U.S.-built vehicles are phased out of production by 2014.

Jaguar XF Sportbrake gets matching Jaguar Speedboat

Tue, 30 Oct 2012

Jaguar has revealed a Speedboat Concept at the first XF Sportbrake driving events to show how Jaguar design translates in other products. Before you get too excited, the Jaguar Speedboat isn’t a new item on the XF Sportbrake’s option list, but an exercise in translating Jaguar’s design philosophy in to an alternative product; one that fits seamlessly with Jaguar’s ‘Lifestyle’ pitch for the XF Sportbrake. Jaguar’s design guru, Ian Callum, said: We recognise that both our existing and future customers enjoy diverse and active lifestyles.
