THIS AUCTION IS FOR A NEW SET OF MARINE GRAPHICS BY SHARPLINE. PART # 055-2986. THESE ARE BEAUTIFUL GRAPHICS. THE COLORS ARE RED, BLACK AND SILVER, THEY HAVE VERY BRITE COLORS, THE GRAPHIC HAVE A PAPER FILM ON TOP OF THEM, WHICH PROTECTS THEM DURING INSTALLATION, AND THEN IS REMOVED. THESE GRAPHICS MEASURE APPOX 11' LONG, X 8" TALL WHEN INSTALLED. THERE ARE 2 PIECES PER SIDE. SO YOU WILL RECIEVE A TOTAL OF 4 PIECES ALTOGETHER. THE GRAPHICS ARE MARKED WITH ARROWS TO SHOW THE CORRECT POSITIONING WHEN APPLY THEM. THESE ARE GREAT FOR UPDATING THAT OLDER BOAT, OR ADDING SOME COLOR TO A NEWER BOAT. Chip Foose returns to Disney's Car Masters Weekend
Wed, 12 Jun 2013Automotive designer Chip Foose will return to this year's Car Masters Weekend at Downtown Disney on 15-16 June. Foose, who is also a hot rod shop owner, fabricator and star of the reality TV series Overhaulin' on Velocity, has created pieces of original artwork featuring landmarks from Walt Disney World Resort, finished in his signature marker style. Works by Foose were put on display last year in Disney California Adventure's Car's Land attraction.
BMW/Exa-sponsored project at ACCD
Wed, 13 Aug 2008Art Center's BMW/Exa 7th term sponsored project, which we first reported on back in mid-February, recently had its final presentation at the conclusion of the Spring 2008 term. You'll recall the project tasked the students with redesigning a future X5 Sports Activity Vehicle with the express mandate improving its aerodynamic efficiency by at least 30 percent. To achieve this lofty goal, the co-sponsor on the project, Exa Corporation was going to provide both their engineering software PowerFLOW and their technical know-how to virtually test the students' Alias StudioTools design models and provide them with real world aerodynamic feedback.
