Features :

The 2nd Generation radio had two separate antenna terminals whereas the 3rd Generation has two antenna terminals but in one solid housing.
If you are upgrading from a 2nd Generation VW Group radio (i.e. RCD 300, RCD 500, MFD2 etc) to a 3rd Generation (RCD 210, RCD 310, RNS 310, RNS 315, RNS 510, RCD 510 etc) an Antenna Adapter is required.

This adapter resolves this connecting issue in most recent VW's including the Golf 5, Golf 6, Passat, EOS, Jetta, Touareg, Tiguan and others with a diversity antenna system and twin tuners (hence the two antenna connections), leaving one disconnected will affect the performance of the radio system and may throw errors in the radio/navigation system.

One end of the adapter connects to the radio antenna inputs (solid housing), and the other end connect to the dual Fakra antenna terminals on the car side.

This radio adapter is suitable for these navigation systems:

Volkswagen RCD 310
Volkswagen RNS 315
Volkswagen RNS 510

If you've been waiting for a Mazda 6 diesel, prepare to wait a bit longer. After delaying the US launch until Spring 2014, Mazda now says it won't meet that target date either. Mazda says the engine meets current emissions standards using only a particulate filter, but the resulting blend of performance and fuel economy isn't up to snuff.
