Porsche Rennsport Reunion

This is a selection (yes, there were lots more) of Porsche race cars from the Rennsport Reunion held recently at Daytona Beach, Florida. The event runs every three years, organised by Brian Redman (of Can-Am and F1 fame) and his son James with a helping hand from Stuttgart.

Ford EcoSport concept

Ford is choosing the New Dehli Auto Expo to unveil its EcoSport concept. The all-new crossover vehicle is comparable to the Fiesta in size and is built atop Ford's new B-Car architecture. Designed in Brazil under the direction of Joa Marcos De Oliveira Ramos, the EcoSport is poised to be a significant part of the company's ‘One Ford' strategy that will see the previously Brazilian only EcoSport rolled out further afield in markets both developing and mature.

Subaru BRZ STI teased

Subaru are teasing the BRZ STI (pictured) The Subaru BRZ – the Subaru take on the Toyota GT86 – has the potential to be a lot more hardcore than its current setup allows. That has led to much speculation that Subaru will bolt a turbo on to the BRZ’s Boxer engine to produce a BRZ with something closer to the 300bhp we originally expected. In fact, at the end of 2011, Subaru in the US confirmed there would be a turbo version of the engine in the BRZ, although they fell short of actually confirming the BRZ itself would get it as an option, but at the end of 2012 we had a report that the BRZ will get the turbo engine and that it will deliver 280bhp.
