Mini, Airstream collaborate on concept for Italian show

One of the last things we expect to see is a Mini towing around a 22-foot Airstream trailer, but that's exactly what will be on display in Milan, Italy, at the Salone del Mobile show in April. The one-off concept brings together the two iconic brands to produce a combination that surely will please beachgoers. Mazda's Hazumi concept looks like a ferocious little rodent, an aggressive lil' gumball of a mini car that's set to replace the Mazda2. Imagine the drooping snout of the Mazda3 (not a "Droopsnoot," mind you) on a car far shorter than that. Audi A1: American buyers not ready says U.S. chief De Nysschen

Audi of America President Johan de Nysschen says the United States and its small-equals-cheap mentality isn't ready for premium subcompacts such as the Audi A1, which goes on sale in Europe later this year. In an interview with Automotive News on Monday, de Nysschen said Audi is "seriously looking" at bringing the A1 to the United States in the car's next generation six to eight years from now. Bringing it here earlier could damage Audi's efforts to build widespread recognition for the brand, he said.
