OEM Front Door Glass Channel ("Run") Weatherstrip With Glides and Pins
In sealed original factory Mopar package! Not a reproduction...an original Mopar part! Here ya go!

Here's a OEM Front door glass "run" (sometimes called a "weatherstrip" or "channel"). When worn, makes the window open/close effort very high. For the following Mopars:

> '66-70 B-bodies, incl. Dodge Charger, R/T, Coronet, Super Bee, Daytona; Plymouth Belvedere, Satellite, Road Runner, SuperBird, A12, GTX, post coupes, hardtops, and convertibles. Does NOT fit '66-67 post sedans.

> '67-up A-bodies, with VENT WINDOWS ONLY, incl. Dodge Dart, Swinger, GTS, and Plymouth Valiant Scamp, etc., hardtops and convertibles. Will NOT fit A-body post sedans. Will not fit '70-up fastbacks (Demon, Duster, etc - these do not have vent windows).

> Many C-bodies with this "run" system and vent windows.

Note well: This fits cars where the "run" moves up and down with the glass only. This is the felt coated (black "flocked") stiff plastic piece. Comes untrimmed and without holes, you use the holes in the front of your glass as a template to cut holes in the correct spot (easy). No holes in the front edge of your glass? Then this is the wrong part for you!

Complete with the nylon glides and knurled steel mounting pins -- this is what locates the glass in the vent frame rear channel.

BMW Alpina B5 Bi-Turbo Touring (2011): first pictures

Thu, 24 Feb 2011

Alpina has released first details of the estate edition of its 5-series based B5 Bi-Turbo. The wannabe M5 Touring car will be officially unveiled at the 2011 Geneva motor show next week. Alpina has been tuning BMWs for more than 40 years with the factory's blessing and increasingly close collaboration. Presaging the recent move by BMW M to forced-induction engines, Alpina first turbocharged the 5-series when they launched the B10 Bi-Turbo of 1989.

Mercedes touts future safety with research vehicle

Tue, 07 Jul 2009

In 1980, when several automakers began to use airbags, there were people who thought that cars couldn't possibly get any safer. Karl-Heinz Baumann, a safety researcher at Mercedes-Benz AG in Stuttgart, was not one of them. "We said, 'No, it cannot be all,' and we kept doing more research." The results of that research are presented on the company's most recent Experimental Safety Vehicle (ESV), on display now in the Mercedes Museum in Stuttgart.

Chevrolet Volt concept

Sun, 07 Jan 2007

By Ben Oliver Motor Shows 07 January 2007 03:24 Don't tell me – it's another me-too green car concept that's too expensive and complex to ever be made… Not quite. For a start it's an entirely new concept, and important enough to be General Motor's biggest news from the Detroit show. An electric motor drives the front wheels.
