THIS CAME OFF A 77 CADILLAC ELDORADO ((TESTED 11-05-16)) INCLUDED IN THE SALE THE FENDER TRIM THAT THE ANTENNA COMES OUT OF. ANTENNA WORKED GREAT AND GOING UP AND DOWN AS SEEN IN LAST PICTURE. THIS ANTENNA MIGHT FIT MANY GM MODELS. PLEASE CHECK BEFORE BIDDING. NOT SURE THE HEIGHT OF MASS (((THIS IS NOT A REPRODUCTION PART))).THESE HAVE BEEN DISCONTINUED MANY YEARS AGO AND ARE HARD TO FIND. WEDNESDAY 29th January will go down in history as the day Sir Malcolm Campbell’s record breaking 350hp Sunbeam was fired up and heard in public for the first time in over 50 years. The historic event followed a complete rebuild by the National Motor Museum’s workshop team. As the brainchild of Sunbeam’s chief engineer and racing team manager, Louis Coatalen, the car was constructed during 1919 and early 1920 and power came from an aero engine, a type used on naval seaplanes.

U.S. is seeking a record $16.4 million fine against Toyota

The National Highway Traffic Safety Administration is seeking a historic $16.4 million civil penalty against Toyota for failing to notify the agency in a timely fashion of a throttle problem that could cause unintended acceleration, Transportation Secretary Ray LaHood said on Monday. The amount is the maximum penalty and would be the most NHTSA has levied against an automaker. The agency said Toyota waited at least four months to alert it of the potential pedal problem.

The Carrozzeria Touring Superleggera Disco Volante Carrozzeria Touring Superleggera Disco Volante is a homage to the 1952 Alfa Romeo Disco Volante, based on the Alfa 8C and heading to Geneva. The Carrozzeria Touring Superleggera Disco Volante – which is quite a mouthful – is a concept put together by Carrozzeria Touring Superleggera for this year’s Geneva Motor Show and is a modern take on the 1952 Alfa Romeo Disco Volante, itself a Touring concept based on the Alfa 1900. This time Carrozzeria Touring has taken a modern Alfa as a platform for its creation, the Alfa Romeo 8C, and created a new body in hand crafted aluminium with carbon fibre elements, but under the skin it looks like the 8C stays intact.
