The air runs out of run-flat tires

It was another disappointment for Michelin and other makers of run-flat tires in a 17-year effort to win customers in the United States. When run-flat tires appeared here in 1992, they were expected to win wide acceptance as original equipment.

So there’s not really an awful lot more to tell, but we do love the idea of such a monstrously powerful convertible as the Supersports so much that we wanted an excuse to run another story. Cycle-rail journeys 'almost triple'
Thu, 02 Jan 2014MASSIVE increases to public transport network spending have led to the near-tripling of the number of ‘cycle-rail’ journeys taken since 2009, according to government statistics. An update on the coalition’s ‘door to door action plan’, published close to the New Year, details how huge increases in funding for secure cycle parking facilities and public transport integration have led to increased usage. The government is using the data to encourage more people to take up ‘greener’ ways of getting to work.
