With temperatures soaring across North America, there's no better time to hunker down in an air-conditioned room with your pen, vellum, and markers (or, more realistically, your computer and tablet) and get working on your entries into the GM Interactive Design Competition 2012.  It's only been a month since the official launch of the 2012 GM Interactive Design Competition and we're already seeing strong participation and a very high level of quality for the entries. Open to all full-time college or university students from across the US and Canada, this competition is a great way to gain exposure, but also to keep up and improve your skills over the summer. High-tech thieves stealing cars without the keys

MORE THAN one in three vehicles stolen in London are taken by hackers who do not have the owner's keys, the Home Secretary has revealed. Sophisticated car thieves are breaking into cars and programming new electronic keys instead, Theresa May said in a speech in Westminister. The hi-tech theft was given as an example of changing threats faced by police in modern Britain.

Peugeot recall over airbag scare

CAR COMPANY Peugeot is recalling some of its 5008 models in the UK due to a possible airbag problem. Friction wear can occur on the driver's seat wiring harness. This can lead to an electrical malfunction and may cause the unwanted triggering of the driver's seat airbag.
